Flaming Fire Statement of Faith

We believe The Bible is the infallible Word of God and the authority for salvation and Holy living. (See II Timothy 3:15-17.) We believe and practice the Apostle's Doctrine (Acts 2:42, Ephesians 4:11)

We believe There is one God, who has revealed Himself as Father; through His Son, in redemption; and as the Holy Spirit, in the church TODAY. God (John 4:24) in CHRIST reconciling the World back to himself (2 Corinthians 5:19). Jesus Christ is the Son of God. Jesus Christ is the unifying name of the godhead. (See Deuteronomy 6:4; Ephesians 4:4-6; Colossians 2:9; I Timothy 3:16.) 

 We believe ALL have sinned and needs salvation. Salvation comes by grace through faith based on the atoning sacrifice of Jesus Christ. (Romans 3:23-25; 6:23; Ephesians 2:8-9.) 

We MUST obey the gospel (II Thessalonians 1:8; I Peter 4:17) by repentance (death to sin 2 Peter 3:9/ Acts 2:37-38), and we MUST be BORN AGAIN OF WATER (burial) & OF THE SPIRIT (resurrection), according to (John 3:3-5)

We believe being born of Water, is being Water Baptized in the Name of Jesus Christ, according to (Acts 2:38). The ONE UNIFYING NAME of the Father (John 5:43), Son (Isaiah 9:6) & Holy Ghost (John 14:26) IS Jesus Christ. (Matthew 28:19, Acts 4:12, Philippians 2:9-11). The FULLNESS OF THE GODHEAD IS IN JESUS CHRIST.  Colossians 2:9)

We believe the initial sign of being born of the spirit, is speaking in tongues. AS THE SPIRIT gives the utterance, according to (Acts 2:4). 1 Corinthians 15:1-4; Acts 2:4, 37-39; Romans 6:3-4).

We believe in the supernatural gifts of the spirit, including healing are for the church TODAY. These gifts are for the edifying of the Body of Christ & to make us effective witnesses in the world.

 We believe, after having received the Spirit Baptism, we will exemplify the FRUITS OF THE SPIRIT, (according to Galatians 5:21-22). We believe in private and public daily application of True Holiness (1 Peter 1:16), being cleansed from ALL unrighteousness. We should LIVE HOLY inwardly & outwardly. We should worship God joyfully, IN the beauty of holiness. (Mark 12:28-31; 2 Corinthians 7:1; Hebrews 12:14)

 We believe Jesus Christ (bridegroom) is coming again to catch away His church (bride). In the end will be the final resurrection and the final judgment. The righteous will inherit eternal life, and the unrighteous eternal death. (See I Thessalonians 4:16-17; Revelation 20:11-15.)
